Regia Aeronautica GB II (06/15/09 to 06/15/10)

Yes Jeff I am sure there is no issue even though the mighty woller of the luft has gone off to work or is busy with girly friend stuff! You should be close to the same time as he being in Germany and all. I say Welcome aboard and mind the rules. Tis a fierce man that Guy is. Bonked me in the noggin for lookin cross ways at him. It’s ok he fancies hisself as a WWE Wrestler. When you decide on what yer something special shall be as I still have too just holler and I’ll cattle prod the fellow into adding us! [8-][#toast]

Woo hoo, I see our Able co-host, The Drug Lord Aaron, has welcomed you. But yes of course your welcome Jeff. Go forth and come fifth, and buy a kit. The more Italian the better.

Go, like the wind my friend, Run run to the hobby shop. Skipping as you go.

You added to the front pge BTW.

…Guy

No more drugs for me! Drugs are bad M-kay… Back to Aleve and penicillin and sticking with it!!

I still thinking on what to build. Maybe after Christmas I will be able to make a decision! Hmmm I could alwas just cook spagetti?

Hey fellas! I got my 1/48 Pacific Coast Models MC-200 today in the mail. I have never laid eyes on one of their kits before, and my immediate impression is WOW!!!

Here’s how it looks in the box. Injection molded airframe with very nicely done panel lines. Full resin engine, cockpit, prop, wheels, and other bits. Eduard PE set and two vacuform canopies that are quite exquisite. Cartograph decals for six different aircraft, and a full color instruction/paint sheet. Very nice indeed! [^]

Wow, Frank. Makes me want one. I’d like another kit or two to accompany my sole Hase 202 that currently resides in the display case and that kit would be perfect. I wonder if I should commit to this GB? Decisions, decisions.

You know… since you just finished your 109…

TWISTING HK’S ARM!)

[:D]

Go for it Troy, you have nothing else to do right !!

Steve

Oh boy HK! I hear it calling your name! Please do it will be a fun time I am sure.

Frank that kit looks oooooooooooooooo! I can smell the resin fumes! That is a cool Aircraft! It is just so odd looking with it’s small radial engine and bubbles on the cowling. Open pit just screams for you to have a go at her! That is going to be cool!

Where is Guy? It is like 730 AM Sunday Morning? Must be dipping his bisquits in the marmolade! Last I heard from him he was following she that must be obeyed so perhaps once he gets loose he will convince ye HK Shooter!

Troy, you might as well do it as now you have Aaron and Frank on your case and they wont give up until you join us. Besides dont you want to spray paint those smoke rings or the multiple motteling all over an airframe, nothing to worry about, right.

Guy is probably eating his bangers and mash.

Steve

Oh yeah…pick on the Brit. Im here and in full effect. I even have Marmite on my fingers while i type.

Franky boy. That kit looks amazing. Thier resin (PCM) is supposed to be absolute quality. Im soo jealous. She looks a stunner. Didnt i read that those M.C 200’s had assymetrical wings? Something to do with the torque or something like that?

Shooter. You know you want to join. If you take too long thinking aout it all the slots will be gone [:-^] or maybe not…or ill send Aaron, Steve, and Frank round to give you Chinese burns. Git yer butt in gear soldier…Or The boys will tear you a new one!!.

…Guy

You heard right Guy! The port wing was longer than the starboard wing to counteract the engine torque. I believe all of the Macchi’s had this feature. I can hardly wait to get started! [:P]

AHHHHHH!

Still taking applications ? I set these two kits aside this morning

RegiaBeings that I have nothing on the shelf with Italian Markings…

OT - I never did find the kit I was looking for, but boy did set a bunch of stuff aside for the “To Do List” [:-^] I cant believe I have not one kit of a Wirraway [sigh]

Woo hoo, the more the merrier Summit. Your more than welcome here and a couplke of beautys to boot. I know of Supermodels stuff and thought they were fairly hard work. Any ideas what your 2 are like?

…Guy

Welp there goes the neighborhood! Welcome Sean! You jumped from 1/32 to 1/72? A man after me owmn heart!! Yeah curious to what those kits are like I do not believe I have seen them before.

Thanks Guy, These may me quite a challenge as the instructions are all in Italian…Go Figure [:-^] Not a clue, other then they have dry transfer decals and the tiny’est rubber tires I have ever seen.

Ha ha yep someone had to do it… 1/32 - 1/72 I can only think you are referring to that 7 letter Profane word that begins with a C perhaps ? Actually I build more 1/72 & 1/48 - the Real Estate hogs are the oddballs. Aaron I believe these kits to be at least 20 + years old. The price tags read $1.50…

Ha definately a man after my own heart! I just finished the HMS Hood from 1978! Cost $8.00

Sean, I have those two exact same kits in my collection too. Except I have multi-lingual instructions that include english [:D]. One of the kits has a damaged canopy and is missing a wheel (might have to do it wheels up). I didn’t realize the tires were rubber until you mentioned it so I had to go and check. I’ve built one other Supermodel kit, the Bv 138, but that was 20+ years ago so my memory of the actual build is quit sparse.

I think Aaron confused you with me during his drug induced dilerium. I also have a 1/32 Maachi 21st Century kit. I’ll probably jump in at some point on this GB but I’m not sure what I’ll do yet. I’m waiting for the Secret Santa Gb and the In My Stash GB to reveal what else I’ll be building next year before commiting. [:D]

Well, I wondered why I was having such a hard time walking around the house. I have a guy hanging on both arms and one on a leg!

Alright then. Lest I have people show up at my door with rolls of Tamiya tape and cans of spray bomb primer. BUt I gotta let you know I have nothing in the stash and will have to do some shopping.

PUt me in for something, I’ll let you know when I find out what.

Now was that so hard Troy. Besides you do know that resistance is futile. Glad you are abord and cant wait to see you do your magic on an Italian bird. Wow, that could be taken the wrong way.

Steve
