Regia Aeronautica GB II (06/15/09 to 06/15/10)

Welcome Troy! Glad you took the leap! (does this mean I have to put my tape away?)

Wait there is still Dave! [}:)]

Ive seen a film about that…and they was all neked!!!

…Guy

Shooter, your added to the front page.

Right all, seeing as were not quite there yet…Theres homework. I want each of you committed so far to post a picture of the respective bird or birds you plan to model. (Period picture or museum. Prefer Period)

Come on, come on…Im waiting.

…Guy

Guy, I’ve seen your shamless plugs everywhere. I may just have to join your build[;)] Could you recommend a kit? 1/48 and 1/72, fighters or larger.

Wyoroy, welcome aboard buddy. Shamelessly plugging everyone i can. Its my 1st GB ive hosted. With help from our resident Drug Lord and Hooter blower, Aaron.

As for your kit. Oooh, the choice is limitless. What do you fancy? Fighter? Bomber?. Whats your prefered scale?

We could put it out to the masses (In here)

…Guy

Anything goes. Fighters 1/48 & bombers 1/72. I have no Regia Aeronautica aircraft past or present in my stash. I do want to try the camo schemes they have, very cool.

Ah once again I think Guy has proven that We Americans and English are 2 peoples separated by a common language. [:O][:I][#toast]

WOOHOO!!!

I finished my homework!

In fact, the aircraft in the foreground is the exact aircraft I am modeling, 374-3

[:D]

What have i done Now? Or said strangely?

Wyoroy, if it were me id go for something not on the list yey, maybe Italieris Pipistrell

http://www.century-of-flight.net/Aviation%20history/photo_albums/timeline/ww2/Savoia%20Marchetti.htm

I built the SM 79 recently and fancy the Pipi to add to the collection as well. Go for it. Great camo schemes on the bird.

…Guy

Good work, teachers pet. I have an apple for you somewhere. Right whos next.

…Guy

I’ll Have a go! Italian!

WOW, now thats an Italian bird. Hope Klaus is taking no offence to all this.

So now we have to do homework, this is a tough GB. What in the world will be next, learn Italian?

Steve.

Gratsi

Okie Dokie, here is my research into Italian birds. Period photo also.

Enjoy.

Steve

Alright now, seriously. This is the only Italian bird I have ever built and it was in my stash forever and one day my daughter picked it out for herself and her own paint scheme.

I kinda like it.

Steve

Steve, she did a great job. I agree the colors are kinda cool.

Guy, here’s one I would like to do (#2) if I can find it. The camo is simple but it has this look that I have never seen, very cool.

Right, if you girls dont take it seriously, theres going to be a detention. Heres a couple more from me,

A Fiat G50 Freccia

and hows this for a sad sight,

…Guy

Excellent choice Wyoroy, let me know when you have it in your greasy palms.

…Guy

Thanks, I like the way it has the big sweeping colors. Plus I don’t think I have seen anyone do that scheme.

Now your being a task master and taking all the fun out of it TEACHER. Im having flashbacks to primary school. So back to your normal sc heduled programming. My homework assignment as requested ( or was it an order ).

Did I pass the course?

Steve

P.S. Aaron started it
