This is a tough question. I’ve seen LAV’s cruising around in the desert and they looked pretty cool. The Stryker looks cool too. So if it was something without tracks, then one of those.
I was thinking about the BMP, but having been cav, I would have to go with my bias towards the M3. Plus thinking about the pictures of all the Iraqi BMP’s burnt out and destroyed, well… I’m glad I’m on this side of things. [;)]
I’m gonna have to run with my paladin and the M-110A2 just due to the fact that the 203mm granted is bigger than my paladins 155mm , but they both look really cool ( I wounder what the paladin would look like as a open aired SP gun like the M110A2?
It would have to keep all it’s attributes though…hhmmmmmm?
My personal favorite AFV would have to be the M88A1 Recovery vehicle.I was with these big boys for years while i was in the CAV. I drug EVERYTHING out of the mud and could go anywhere!

I built tamiyas m3a2, and it was awesome, lots of figs! It was shown in the forum about a month ago. oh yeah, i don’t know if it is still on the website i linked it to the forum from i cant remember which site, but i think that it has ron in it somewhere.

There’s 3 of them mate - AFV Club, Dragon, Trumpeter, & by all accounts the AFV Club has pole position at the moment, though one of the others still hasn’t been released yet.
My picks though, would be:
Bradley: a whole lotta pain coming your way in one of those
M-113: 40 year old design & still being upgraded (at least in Australia anyway)
StuG III/IV: 75mm gun in a silhouette hull - gotta be scary
Sdkfz 251: whatever you want to do with it, just bolt it on & get on with it
JagdTiger/Panther: you know what I’m saying

if we can get away with the statement that the S-Tank wasn’t really a Tank, lets vote for the coolest piece of engineering (the heating did not really cope with arctic winters) that has ever been deployed on tracks

The Trumpeter kits look the part although far out of scale and are fun to build.

Same here. Very sleek looking to begin with, and lots of really wicked looking variants.
Gotta go Stug III then Hetzer or Jagpanther.
