favorite AFV. the catch: no tanks

well let’s see what we come up with. you can use APC’s self propelled artillery, tank destroyers, but no tanks.

my favorite would have to be a tossup between the m18 greyhound and the sdkfz 234.

M-50 Ontos.

For me, gotta be the Jagdpanther.

Armored gun trucks.

Stug III all the way.

I would have to say the M-7 priest.

I’ve always liked the U.s. halftracks. They just look cool. Now if I could only build one myself.

Have to say Jagdpanther and SDKZ 251/D.

Shorts Shorland…

It doesn’t say we are restricted to WWII, right?

I’ll go for the M113. The workhorse of the Philippine Army & Marines.

The Hetzer is just too darn unique not to get a vote…compact, low silhouette, and based on a tested chassis. Didn’t the Swiss use a version of the Hetzer until the 70s?

late 60’s I thought

I’m going to say the M10 Duckbill, I just like the sleek look.

M-7 Priest for me too, really cool sp gun.

Marder III M (whose idea was it to not put a covered top on this thing cause I’m freezing my a** off here!)

Glenn

the buffalo amphibian first armor kit I bought and I will one day build it.

I’ll be controversial and go the British Archer.

Why? A quick stop gap vehicle that went against all British thinking of the time. No turret (like the M10, etc) just a 17 pdr bolted in facing backwards into a very obsolete tank chassis, and the driver had to get out of his seat before it was fired…or be decapitated. Despite all this the Archer was still used way into the 50’s anyway.

For me the Russian BMP series.

I got to vote for the M18 hellcat gotta love the speed.

yep it sure was fast!!
