Good work Terminator!

Awesome Work terminator!

Nice work Terminator! Keep it up

Thanks Guys! Dad and me are doing more tonight. I will ask him to post my pictures. Dad set up my profile for me…

Haha, good news… you are official now. I will look forward to seeing your work

[#welcome] to the Finescale Trmn8tor, it’s great to have you with us.

Post us some more pics once you’ve done some more work, I think we’re all looking forward to seeing them.

Cheers

WooHoo! only 5 days till kick off! [:P]

Unfortunately, I will probably not be able to start right away as it that time of the year when Government grabs more money from us. I have to do my taxes this weekend [yuck]. I will be starting after that, so for sure the week after. [:)]

If all goes well, I should be moving house in early/mid April. Might delay my start. At least the new place will have a hobby room!

I won’t be able to start right away either my kit is in travel limbo somewhere on the BIG pond ( The Pacific) I’ll start it as soon as it arrives [:D] So much for “Speedy Delivery” from the worlds postal services ROFL

Tough luck there Chris, where did you order the kit from?

Hey guys, Dad and I got the fuselage together…needs lots filler. We dry fitted the wings, we will need more filler.

Darson,

If I ever see your stuff I bet it is really good…you have a picture of a king so you must be good.

Editor’s Note (a/k/a Dad)

When your 7 there is an easy fix for those pesky fit problems!

Darren Actually Jules found the Yak-1 in a hobby shop and sent it to me,but i haven’t seen him on the forums in a while and he has not responded to my E-mail of late. when I had last heard from him he had already sent it out and I had sent some American currency for a collector in his family so i guess he is MIA at the moment I hope everything is ok with him

TERMIN8OR when it comes to that level of AHEM Adjustment I usually break out the CHERRYBOMBS HEH HEH HEH[}:)][:-^] Not to ENCOURAGE Creative use of DESTRUCTION[:-^] JK

joe, among all the excitement to see your son airbrushing the kit, please do get him a respirator.

Yeah, Termin8tr, Darren (Darson) has this wierd Kingly “divine right” complex where he lords it over us and thinks were are all his “subjects” he can order about at will, if you’re on here long enough you will notice he hosts some kick butt GBs, which I think contribute to his complex. So he put a king as his avatar just remind us all of his superiority…[;)][(-D]

Just kidding Darren, though you DO host kick butt GBs![tup]

Two days to go!!!

BTW your build is looking good Termin8tr. Give us some close ups please!

Here is a close up of my work so far. Tonight we sanded the seams. We checked how we did with silver paint. We still need more work. The wings are still only dry fit.

Oh Snap! The seat fell out…Dad says that’s okay and Welcome to the hobby!

I can’t wait to get to the decals!

If you only had the seat fall out so far, you are off to a great start. I completely lost an entire wing to a 1/48 Doolittle Raider once. I am still trying to figure that one out, but I am willing to bet that the dog had something to do with it. He has aquired a taste for styrene that the carpet monster doesnt claim first.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to more pictures!

Thanks! Good call…will remedy, looks like I will have plenty of time to get one by the way the seams are coming! (LOL)

He has been doing all the work on his own, I show him and off he goes! The detail on the kit will be pretty much wiped away, but who cares, it is his first! I remember being his age and having this exact kit…this is quite a buzz…thanks to Jay. Should be soon Jay you can have your kid jump on in on one of these!

Chris I’m afraid I’m in the same boat as you. I haven’t heard from Jules for ages now I hope everything is alright for him and he finds his way back here eventually.

Termin8or thanks mate, that’s a really nice thing to say. Your Mustang looks really cool by the way [tup]

Jay Err thanks for that and always remember “It’s good to the King” [;)]

Oh yeah, one day to go!!!

Cheers

Termin8or Nice progress on the mustang[tup] btw I love your calibration tool.

Less than 24Hrs to go droool!!!

Cheers

Bear

I really want to get my Dora’s off the bench but this week has been slow![:(] I guess I’ll only be able to look at the sprues for the next week. Well, maybe I can paint some of the cockpit pieces…
