P-61 BLACK WIDOW is a skill 2 the JUNKERS JU 52/3M ,witch is a skill 3

HMMMM I’d love to answer this but my wife might see it…LOL
Seriously I would have to say the very first one I ever did a 1/72 Monogram P-40N warhawk.
That started it all!

Just about any Tamiya aircraft - especially 1/48 P-51, P-47, F4-U, anything by Accurate Miniatures - their cars included, The old Nitto armored fighting suits (I know, I know, they’re fantasy/sci-fi models),
Hasegawa 1/48 P-51, Tamiya 1/16 King Tiger (I’ve built one!! What a beast!!)…
Too many models…not enough time…
Cheers

Iv’e said it a few times, I’ll say it again-Tamiya’s Late model Tiger I. Loved the fit and the indy tracks set it off. Who knows which of my unbuilt kits might dethrone it. I believe the new Trumpeter Leopold must be quite an awesome spectacle-3 feet long!

“It is well that war is so terrible, lest we grow too fond of it.”-R.E.Lee

well,i only like to build wwII models, tamiya is my favorite model maker,i got alot of models in storage, but the one im going to make next is a 88mmgun flak36 37

My favorite has to be the Tamiya Tiger I made into M. Wittmans S04. I did the works on that one. Verlinden engine, Modelkasten tracks, every p/e set available, and the metal barrel. This was my fav because it was one of very few kits that I actually took my time on everything. Did all kinds of research on . To me she was a beaut , and very fun to do.

It is hard to pick a favorite, I guess I just have to ask if I could only build one more model as many time as I wanted to for the rest of my life, what would it be. Mine would probably be the Monogram B-17G. It was one of the first Dad and I built, and I have built several since. Just one of those few kits that are true classics.

I think my favorite is always the one just completed. But if I had to pin it down, I think it would be Tamiya’s 88mm Flak36/37. What made it the favorite was all the work (and challenge) to make it right. Right behind it would be Tamiya’s Marder III.

Two of my favorites: Fisher Model & Pattern’s Jaguar D-type and Tamiya’s Jaguar Mk. II

But I have to agree with Gip, it’s usually whatever model I’ve just finished. Here’s my most recent project, Polar Lights’ Enterprise. It’ll appear in the January '04 FSM as a Workbench Review subject

I guess I don’t build too many models that aren’t for the magazine!

Tamiya’s Dragon Wagon … just a great, well engineered piece of work.

i like alot of those, but, were do you get a metal barral, are make the model look so shinny, bright, and yesterday,i was working on my p-61 and i messed up,there is glue stanes, look bad on it.can you take it of?

mattew,sweet,that space model is sweet

So far have to be the tamiya m4a3 sherman I did not to far back, but the tamiya leapord a5 I picked up pretty cheap looks pretty good just glancing through the box. Can’t wait to get started on it.

matthew, there you go showing that jag again making me wish I could get paint look that good.

yo guys, were do you get the metal barrals at?

Tamiya’s BF109E-4 Trop or Hasegawa’s AR234, I can’t decide which.

Rareplanes 1/72 Vought F6U Pirate, without a doubt! I Scratch built landing gear, interior, and ejection seat. It was also my first kit to receive Future as a top coat! There are several other firsts for me on this kit, but mainly it made me open my eyes to vac.s.

I’d have to say the 60’s Aurora monster kits, I had quite a few in my younger day. I especialy like Dracula and the Gillotine.

I like the old Rat Fink Models of the sixties but my favorite would be the Gee Bee Racer. This incredible little airplane is very interesting and fun to build. If you see this little plane in person you would think if it did get off the ground you could’nt contol it. It looks completely out of control. Check it out.[tup]
