First, Glenn, welcome to the forum! Very glad to have you with us, and I hope you enjoy your time here. And thanks for posting your pics, it’s always fun to see what other modelers are up to.

Exquisite work on the loco and rolling stock. That’s some of the best weathering I’ve seen lately. If you’ve got any tips, techniques or pointers to share, you’ll find an attentive audience here.

Nice work I’ve been trying to find a BR somewhere for a reasonable price I just hope when I do it turns out as good. Like Greg said do you have any weathering tips you would like to share with us?

very nice. i have this in the RR stash. awaiting the hobbyboss 1/72 BR-86.

thanks greg for the compliments. As far as weathering tips goes, I’ll do what I can. I’m an old school modeller and I’m sure my techniques are way out of date, but its the only way i know to get the results I want. Also I discovered AK interactives line of weathering products, and wow. the washes are superb.

Wow!

That’s just some spectacular modeling. These pictures are what I call “eye candy;” I could look at them for hours. I just love the weathering on that boxcar. I have two HO scale locomotive kits in my stash, and I sooo want to build them now.

I have just one request of you, Glenn. Please, please, please post more pictures of your work!

Chris

Thanks hypertex. I havent figured out this site for posting pics but I will give it another try.

Hey folks, look - “world class work” here… really impressive.

Ohhhhh, that’s all kinds of cool!!! Love how you did all the shading etc for an all ‘black’ subject. The wear and rust is just enough and not overdone.

oh great its not enough he builds great models, now he shows a diorama in the making-its too much, just too muchwinktoo

ps It all looks outstanding keep us up dated

Thanks to Disastermaster,Gamara, and Duster for the very nice comments. Not sure about world class. I strive for perfection, but I’m less than perfect.

I am in the middle of moving from Ontario to Nova Scotia. I will post an update in the dioramas section, when I get the man cave set up.

thanks again

Glenn
