my new build , funny thing with this one , couldn’t find any build logs on u-tube or anywhere for that fact .guess I’m on my own with this one .
plenty of plastic comes with it .
splashed out on awood deck , which comes with barrels , rigging thread , chain , and a lot of masking sheets , which I have never used before .
And the hits just keep on coming 
Sometimes it’s like that Steve. I try to hit up build logs on most of my builds and every now and then there’s just nothing out there. Maybe you’ll be the first?? 
Looking VERY much forward to watching this one build up. With your skillset, you’ve got this one made.
the wood deck has been oil stained , and glued down , with wood glue , I learnt a while ago not to trust it’s glue .
What did you stain the deck with? It is looking really good in those superstructure areas. Did you also end up using the masks or did you paint everything first?
thanks flankme , I used an oil wash of burnt umber oil with white spirit , painted on and wiped straight off . no I haven’t used the masks , as I wanted 2 different colour greys , so I painted everything first . it was just easier .
