I recently came across a comment about the shade of wooden decks. It said that the German (and others) are browner than the Royal Navy’s decks as these were “holystoned” and come out a lot more whitish. Your decks look phenominal!!!

Wow! Amazing work! it is really looking incredible! Trumpeter is releasing a new 1/350 scale of the gneisenau this November I think. I plan on getting my hands on that when it comes!
