It sounds fun and the date gives plenty of time to plan ahead. Hmm, artillery or tank?

OK count me in as “probable member” on this one. If in case I join…it will be Tamiya Tiger I Mid Pro.

(Did I add another post to my name again? LOL.)

You’re killing me. [(-D][(-D][(-D] I get one too! [}:)]

Wow Tamiya Tiger Mid-Pro in 2 days. That will be a feat. I assume a heavy mudding up tof hat bad boy.

Tentitavely, I will be doing the old Tamiya Panzer II, maybe in Afrika Corps colors.

You are a brave man Dwight

Brave? I guess not![:D]

Stupid? Probably![:D][:D][:D][:D]

After all I did finish an M1A2 on a weekend…with some cheating on a Friday night…[(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D]. But anyway I have to check my schedule because as some of you already knows…I work until Saturdays. So I have to check whether I can freee myself on that day.[:p] That’s why I am still a “probable member”.

I will leave you as in and if it doesn’t work, just let me know

wow. i honestly dont think i could build one in two weeks let alone two days.

joe

It just depends on time and the kit Joe.

That date is fine. I’ll have to chalk it up on my board so i won’t forget. Unless something changes i will be doing a wheely vehicle. Probably a M20 Armored car.

I’m thinking maybe Tamiya’s Stuart or M5 Gun Howitzer might work for this build also. Just some ideas I thought I’d share with the group. Easy OD paint scheme.

Well I can tell you I WON’T be doing any of Dragon’s kits. I am putting the tracks on their Panzer III M and there is no way I could do 240 parts in a weekend with out going insane

You can count me in… You can bet mine won’t have any mud… lol…

I have a couple of Tamiya anti-tank gun kits that would be an easy build in a weekend. I am a highly probable!

What about the Academy Stuart? Is it too diffficult?

I built the “Honey” version and it’s not something I would attempt again in a single weekend…tracks are indy blocks with individual connector pins on both sides that take the connector piece as a separate individual part. The pins and connectors stagger so that one pin on each block goes into the connector. On the surface this doesn’t sound so tough, but you have to do it with both sides and the blocks will not be workable once they set up. On top of that the indy blocks and pins are small for a 1/35 kit so easy to break/lose one to the carpet monster if not careful. Ended up doing them in groups of three and then daisy-chaining them together. It was slow going and only did one track per day just because of the frustration factor.

what are you people doing to me.

you got me thinking. if i get a kit with one piece tracks. if it doesnt have a difficult paint scheme. if it is no too difficult of a kit.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

joe

We are the little devils on your shoulder saying “go on, build it. You know you want to!”

Joe has been fully co-opted by the darkside! Resistance if futile Joe, you will be assimilated…[:D]

Put me down as a maybe. Now I just have to find a kit.
