Ha… me too. All the frequently used stuff never gets put back.
Yes Dog,seen your set up elsewhere, coming along nicely.
I hear you! LOL
Joe
I built the top and attached it to drawers, and file cabinets that a friend gave me. I don’t like the stuff I built around the table, so I’m in the starting phase of redoing it. It is where I find peace.

The display cabinet

The bench

WOW! Tempestjohnny, what a great place to both build your models and then display them!

Knox & TJ, those are some great looking work and display areas.
Some great looking shops here! I guess maybe I should figure out how to posts photos so some day I can share mine…
Well, first, condolences on your loss, but second…from that angle, he looks just like my “coworker,” Xander (the tripod tuxedo cat that sleeps on my desk all day)!
Gotta love hobby shop kitties, they’re good for finding those little pieces that fall. Except mine likes to occasionally get up on the workbench and push those little pieces off. At least he’s the only one who does that, the other two usually just come down to look out the windows at squirrels and then run away…
Thanks Stikpusher. I really like your setup, and I think it’s great that you can have a space like that in retirement.
Pretty much all set up in the garage. Brother 3D printed some stuff for me to stay organized. Im pretty excited.

The other half is where the spray booth lives

Nice James. Did you go throught the wall for the hood vents? Put in dryer vent type deal? I’ considering the same but not a fan of cutting through stucco.
The garage has two vents one close to the floor behind the booth, and one closer to the ceiling on the same side. Im renting this place so there was definitley no cutting through the stucco haha
Keavdog, do you have a window near your spray booth? I put my vent on a board cut to fit the window opening. When I’m spraying, I put the board in and close the window on it to hold it in place. When done, I open the window and remove the board. Here’s some pics of the set-up. Takes about 5 seconds to set up or take down. No fuss, no mess.
