Not very fancy. Some very impressive rooms posted. I just roll that cart to the sliding door and run the hose out for airbrushing.

Stik wins.

Wow!you guys have nice display rooms and yes I agree Stick Pusher has one of the best . Very long hallway type with plenty of room for future completed models of all types.
Why do I feel that there should be some guy with a cat saying “Ahhh Mr Bond I have been expecting you” in this shot?
The floorplan labeled it as a “club room” [;)]
The full view photo was taken two years ago, so I’ve been filling up those shelved over the storage cabinets with builds made over the past three years since we moved here. At my build completion rate, I may have those shelves filled in another 10-15 years [whstl]
That is more horizontal space than I have in my whole house.
LMAO!
Its the most display space that I’ve ever had. After decades of cheap bracket shelves and secondhand furniture, this time we went with stuff built to last. I did thin the herd a little before we moved, but the floor to top shelving is holding the surviving roughly 40 years worth of builds. At least those that were not destroyed by marauding cats, earthquakes, small children, or other such events.
My Garden Cabin…

As we don’t have basements in 90% of houses here in the UK, we utilise the garden.
Sometimes, well most of the time, I have help. This is why every single model I build includes a new round of the Find the Cat Hair game.

I have not had problems with the cats I have had interfering with my model building. They have all taken to snoozing on the bed until I’m done.

That was Chicken, my last cat who passed away in 2020.
Well, we do not have a cat, but do have a small dog who loves to byte the pieces that falls to the floor after I have expended 1 or 2 hours fabricating those pieces. I usually do not let her in while I am working on the models.
My workbench has gone to some revision since I posted the last photo, I purchased 2 Ikea drawers cabinets and using them as legs, these carbines has given me a lot of more storage so I can attempt to better organize the bench.
I also made a 2 part rope storage system that help in keeping the ropes organized, accessible and, at the same time, out of the way. so far it is working ok. I have a tread discussing this item.
There is one thing that I have not found a solution for, if you look at the photo there is a lot of stuff between the drawers cabinet, this are items that are too big to put in a drawer, and, since I have a limited work area, so far I have not figure where I going to put those items.
My workbench is a work in progress, since I tend to be a perfectionist, it will never be completed, because I will always be making changes in an impossible effort to make it perfect.
Until next time
Joe

Neat little space !I see that you are working on a smaller plank on bulkhead ship ,the Bounty perhaps?
The ship under construction is the HMS Beagle. I beleive is about the same size as the Bounty. I have an active build log of the Beagle on the Ships section.

Pretty cool!
You guys have given me some great ideas for a shop. Thank you. I will be making a shop in a 25 foot camper. Keavdog that is a great desk. I had one years ago and loved it. Been trying to find another one but not having any luck with that. The only thing I wont be using is the cat. They dont like me.
Just got the bench set up in the new house last night

Very nice, Very neat!, Now the question is: How long will you be able to keep it neat?
In my case, I may keep it need for a whole 5 minutes! LOL
