Panzer 38(t), Russia, 1941

My latest diorama: The crew (figures on ground from Master Box) of a Panzer 38(t) (Tamiya) from the 19th Panzer Division relaxing during Operation Barbarossa, in the summer/autumn of 1941. The commander looks off into the distance, while the others play cards.

In the USMC we also played a lot of cards, and drank a lot as well lol. Nice job, looks great.

Very nice diorama S.Hollowell, Very natural poses and it tells a story. I built that kit several years ago and it went together in a typical Tamiya manner, “Shake & Make”

Nice diorama. Figures are my Kryptonite. They usually come out looking like something out of The Walking Dead. :zombie:

Thanks @Demolition, @MR_TOM_SCHRY, and @Aggieman!

Exactly. I think it may even be my favorite Tamiya kit that I’ve built so far, although they’re all so good…

I’m not too good at figures either…

I love dioramas like this! So much personality - and pretty cute too. This could have been a scene in Panzer Aces lol

Thanks Shmersky! This is my favorite diorama I’ve made in a while, I think, and probably because it was so much simplier than usual.

Maybe. More likely Kurowski would add a few T-34s blowing up!

“Hans look!”
“Eh?” Hans looks up from his card game
“A T-34 just exploded back there! They must have sensed our German patriotism and self destructed in fear!”
“That’s great, Otto.”

This is a very nice diorama. Very relaxed feeling is in the air.

Great scene. The card players made me laugh. They way they are posed, and the expressions on their faces. Tells a cool story. Look forward to seeing more of your work congratulations.

Thanks Manuel and Skull! The Master Box figures are pretty nice.
