Added in more debris and filled the gaps. Next is to paint the base with Transparent Blue before drybrushing it white and drybrushing the rocks various shades of browns and greys. Then it’s time to paint the X-Wing!

Yea, its a shame really. I understand the no selling posts. But individuals should be able to psot items up for trade. THe back and forth can be handled all through PM. If you are a member of any other forums, you could always try those for the trade.

I built that model about 30 years ago from memory it took a while to put all the optical fibre in the windows but looked really good when it was done

It is intriguing,I had the Dragon one years ago,but I ended up selling it off.Takom kits build up nice,but I am put off by those tracks,we’ll see.

I think Takom tracks go together well sometimes they can be time consuming. I recently built there king tiger but ended up getting their working tracks for the kit because they looked better . I’m not sure what the tracks are like for the T28 but I do know that the side tracks can be towed behind the tank or put on the tank , so the double tracks are seperate .

It is sad to think I got pretty far with the DML T28, even knowing its shortcomings. On top of that, I bought the resin Accurate Armour kit over 20 years ago. Both kits had their problems which stymied my efforts to push them across the finish line. The photos below show the AA and DML kits.
The DML kit placed the gun pivot in the wrong spot, so I had corrected it, plus added a poly cap friction brake and metal counterweight.
I really, really, really hope the Takom kit is better!

I bought the set a few months back. Holy smokes what a great set. It makes detailing and small parts painting so much easier, in fact it works out so great I went online and bought an artist oil based set of like 230 colors. Like I said, there are great for small parts and detailing cockpit interiors. Just be sure to store them laying flat or you’ll have problems with either tip dry or the paint dripping out into the cap. This is what I bought for my paint markers and ink markers.

Got this off Amazon couple of weeks ago and used it for the first time today.
Vevor Inflatable Paint Booth/Spray Booth with 550W blower.
9.8ft long x 8.2ft wide x 8.2ft high.
I can’t airbrush or spray paint anything large inside my home, and the lighting in my garage is less than ideal, not to mention dusty as heck due to our dirt laneway.
This fits the bill and allows for more spray day opportunities. Now I don’t have to wait for and rely on only calm or light airs wind days anymore. Moderate wind days will be fine as well. Not to mention, it’s bug “resistant”.
