Went back and watched the Swedish horror/SF movie ‘Terror in the Midnight Sun’. Only movie I’ve ever seen that ended in an alien Yeti/Satshquatch being burned to death by a torch waving Laplander lynch mob. If you like skiing, well this movie has more skiing than the Winter Olympics…[:S]

A little Saab work over the weekend, lots of masking tape on the fuselage (which I apparently didn’t take a picture of?!) and masking the canopy glass. Alllllll those little 1/72 squares makes me realize why modern jets with bubble canopies are so popular…

Me too! 12+ hour shift work 7 days a week at work = no modeling 
I’m also still in playoffs for my softball league, on top of running the family around. I should (SHOULD!) have free time starting Friday night. Airbrushing the Saab is on top of my to-do list. I probably should double-check the canopy parts were glued alright first though. May not hurt to back up the white glue with a few dabs of CA.

Sprayed my J21 with the topside green, Tamiya acrylics NATO green and… some previous mixed dark green that I found sitting in my airbrush drawer. Man I’m cheap sometimes!
Overall green sprayed & masking tape removed last Friday evening annnnd… I got carried away & removed the tape from the glass as well. Planning on hand-applying the dullcoat anyway, so not a huge deal I suppose.
Glass (especially the rear-side windows) still seem to sit a little proud, but there realy is no wiggle room. The real thing does actually bulge so I’m not too worried. Will fair it in a little better with some white glue.
With Future gloss coat applied & prop finished up…
Also did some paint work on the undercarriage bits, no pics there though.

Canopy does seem a little large but not sure there’s anything you can do about that.
