Mustang Build starts Feb 1 2015 - July 31 2016

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, so I talked to a couple of other members who reignited the idea, honed the idea, and encouraged the idea. I know there is a lot of stuff going on and coming up, but I wanted to get this idea out there.

So here it is.

I have been wondering why there hasn’t been a Mustang Group Build, at least a search doesn’t come up with one (I’m sure there was one as some time).

So here are the rules:

Anything with the moniker of “Mustang”. This would include the car, plane, horse etc.

Any scale, any material.

“What if’s” OK

Crossovers OK

WIP pix a must

Starting Feb 1 2015.

It will last 18 months from the start date. This will give members plenty of time to join and complete a build.

CodyJ is co-host

The patches, designed constructed by CodyJ

I’mm in, I have both the Tamiya 1/48 and 1/32 Mustprangs in the stach

I would love to see someone building a “horse” LOL

Theuns

Well, I believe that will be happening soon after they finish this game…[:D]

Our IPMS president just finished a horse and brought it to the meeting this month. Looked pretty good too.

Theuns and Jelliott, I have you down.

Steve

What would the dates be. I’m interested but I don’t want to overcommit.

We will start as soon as we get a couple more entrants. We have 4 at the moment.

The build would 18 months so there’s more than enough time. We didn’t want to step on any current builds but stake our claim.

Steve

Cool. I have the old Monogram 1/48 Mustang from the mid 70s ready to go on the bench!

Fantastic,

We’ll add you to the roster.

[Y]

I’m game, after I get the two I’m in done. Would probably be around May or so start for me. 1/48 from someone.

“Twister” would be a cute badge for anyone doing the 4 footed version…[:D]

We’ll put ya down GH. Mayish is no problem whatsoever, TONS of time.

Steve, you know I’m in to support your GBs…count me in. I’m really not sure when I can even shop for a kit, but, I’ll be on the lookout for something ‘Mustangish’…the friggin’ badges are super friggin’ sweet!!! I’ll keep y’all posted on my choice down the road a bit…

Cool Rob!

Yeah Cody is amazing…a real Da vinci with those badges.

We’ll get you down for somethn mustanish.

Thanks, I just did a bit of a Google search and found something I want to do…it’ll be a 1/72 P-51B, BUT, my markings I’m gonna keep a surprise, cuz, it’s friggin’ unique and cool…so, yup, I’m in and I know getting a kit will be a breeze…the markings on the other hand…

That sounds cool! And “what if’s” are definitely part of the build. Canadian?

Oh well what the heck, I guess I can join. Not sure which one yet. I know it will be in 1/48.

Nope…me thinks I’ll keep this to my final unveil [6]

MKelley

I got you down.

Can’t wait [:P]

Found her…didn’t want a ';run of the mill" fighter. Was looking for a kit of Strega, but ran across a 1/48 of the old Hasagawa Miss America, the '94 unlimited gold unlimited winner at Reno. Will be done OOB
