Built straight out of the box with Tamiya paints and low keyed weathering. I’m still working on trying to get better pics. This kit was fun to build and highly recommended. The rear pole that holds the tarp up broke off so many times I about threw this guy across the room. I blundered a few things, but most won’t show up in the pics. He will not be going into a dio at this time. I still need to build the fig. Comments and crtiticisms are more than welcome.
Here I was all concerned that my photos would be too big and photobucket really shrunk them. Oh well.
Thanks for the comments. Dave I airbrushed it all with my little Badger 200. I love that brush. Doubt I will buy anything more complex, because it can pretty much do anything a double-action can do. What I did was airbrush my colors than go back over it with the basecoat. I just spray until I like the look. To me in person, the camo looks more faded. Then I give it a coat of Tamiya Buff. I think that is going to play a bigger roll in my modeling. I’m not into the mud look, but I still want it to look used. Oh sorry, I did not mask, just got close in on the pattern. It was easier than I thought.
Great work Eric, very clean and you know I love that muting technique because I always use it. Your track work in outstanding. I do have one issue though, could you post a pic or two of the fighting compartment?
