looks great, tigerman. i really like the cammo job. i just got one off EVIL-bay and am looking forward even more now to building it.
Really nice camo and weathering as well as a top notch build! You’re the final nail in the coffin for me using a paint brush for camo. I’ve finally resolved to start saving for a decent airbrush. Is there anything you recommend in particular? And should i go for one with a compressor or one of those compressed air canister efforts???
Keep up the brilliant work!
Seb
Thanks. Seb, it is a matter of preference. There are so many A.B’s out there: Badgers, Iwatas, Paasches etc. I just like the Badger 200 because you basically use it like a single-action, but can control the paint like a double-action. You can get them pretty cheap also. Mine was under $60, but it would be cheaper at www.dixieart.com or www.bearair.com. Definately get a compressor to go with it. I picked up one at Target of all places for about $69. You’ll save a lot of money down the road.
Steve, my reardeck work wasn’t all that impressive, no chipping, hence no photo provided. [:D] Thanks again guys for the great comments. Panzer III L tk.
thanks for build info,
will perhaps ease up on that weathering for a few models, and get a nice smooth image like yours

Nice job tigerman. Camo paint job looks good.
Nice work and finish on this one Eric, one less in progress kit on your workbench! [:D]
that is outstanding tigerman the paint job is great keep up the good work
all the best Az
A1 job Eric. Your finishes are extrodinary, I really do like your style. Also the track work is excellent. I’d have never guessed those were Tamiya tracks. Your techinque for doing your paint, and finish weathering is much appreciated. It certainly is a techinque I’m anxious to try. Your work goes along ways in showing that out of the box builds can be very dramatic, and telling. Thanks for sharing with us. Semper Fi, mike
Thanks again guys I appreciate it.
Mike, twas nothing. I’ve learned from others and learned from experimenting. I guess we all choose what best suits our modeling tastes. [:)]
eric that sir is a heck of a build. nice work. really nice.

I LIKE the Marder! Great job…and I really like the Camo. The only thing needed is…MORE PICS!! (Would be great to see some detail pics of the gun, etc.)
Gip Winecoff
fantastic work tigerman really awesome
Thanks guys. Sorry Gip, I took no pics of the rear, I wasn’t thrilled with the weathering in that area. Maybe later.
Excellent work Eric. Really like your Camo finish on it.
Thanks for sharing.
