Here are a couple shots of my 1/48 Hasegawa Ar 234B-2. I have added Verlinden and Eduard detail sets, along with wiring and hases to the cockpit and landing gear. The decals are from Eagle Strike.
I still have quite a bit left to add. The nose glazing will be replaced by a Squadron vac. The kit piece is temporarily white glued there to protect the rudder pedals and hoses. The hatch will be open, as well as the boarding step. I still need to install the instrument panel, RATO units, droptanks, flaps, nose gear doors, etc. I hope to be done late Sunday or Monday.
Aurora - the pics are there. If they don’t show, you can right-click the red x, show properties, then highlight and copy the URL. You can then paste it to the address bar and hit go. If it still doesn’t work, I’ll post a link here.
Tankmaster - yes, this aircraft did see service. It was shot down by the British, and then repaired. THey used it for trials. Here’s a pic of the actual bird:
Gilmund - the splinter was masked, and the white camo is freehand.
Looks great as always Pix. When you white glue the canopy in place temporarily, what steps do you have to go through to remove it, and put on the one you will use? Is it a difficult process, or is it just a matter of a little clean-up?
