Building For a while untill we find someone buy this place. I went go work in my shed tonight and ran into a 2 1/2 foot rattle snake some of you would say thats small, but any size will kill you and being 40miles away from the nerist hospital iam not gona take any chances, so if there by my shed that means they can get in my shed because its not sealed completly. So ive had scorpions big spiders and now snakes. Iam done until we get a house and that might take a year or two, so i’ll keep you all updated.
if you can get the snake out,go to the hardware store and buy a bag of lime ,spread a circle around the shed and they won’t cross it to get back in,i don’t know why(unless it’s acidic or something) but it works
What he said works, lime is caustic and will burn the snakes underside’s leaveing it open to infection.

You can say king snake all you want, but you dont know the airiea i live in and IAM NOT getting one to put in my shed theres nothing that is going to change my mind if there out side my house then iam staying inside. The areia that i live in is about 5 squre mile’s with mountains all around i literaly live in a valley in the mountains Its nothing but golf course and trailer’s. No grass no fences nothing but desert and rocks. Heres sattalite view of the area as you can see theres nothing around for miles.
I know what your saying about the area, and snakes,scorpions etc. I lived in New Mexico for awhile and had the same experience. The suggestions of getting rid/preventing snakes are valid. Yet the last time “i got a king snake” it bit me, the kids and killed the gato. I now live by the beach in CA. and we have a problem with sharks now and again. I have a order in for a killer whale…HTH[:P]

If you do kill it, place it’s head on a stake for all to see as an example.

I would hire several small children to go into the shed, get my stuff out and bring it in the house for me though. I’d begin to have withdrawls if I couldn’t get to the bench.

A shotgun with bird shot in it works very well on snakes. Works on spiders and scorpions also. If you stop building we will have to find someone else to “progress”. You dont want that do you?
Can’t you just get a small table and keep building say in your bedroom or something ?

Ed i used to live in AJ iam not evan close iam on the other side of the mountains not evan close to the superstition, and Unless you play golf YOUVE NEVER BEEN to where i live. As for the idea about bulding inside is a no no 35 yrs old and i cant build anything inside my parents know me to well iam a very messy and sloppy modeler id have my room trashed in know time.

Look up King Brown Snakes and Red back spiders… Thats what I had to grow up with. And I literally did grow up in the bush!.. To make things worse. They dont have a rattle to warn you with either! I hit one with the mower as he blended in with the grass…Got a nice little stay in hospital for my troubles…
