How many kits do you finish in an average year? For me, it’s averaging out to about two to three per year [:I] a problem I dearly want to remedy, as soon as things quiet down at work. Let’s hear it, guys and girls. . .
Paul,
I would say I am at about the same speed as you. [:D]
Of course it doesn’t help with all the time I spend on this forum. [(-D]

One, but it is a very good one!
I think I completed 10 last year … which is quite busy for me.
I’ve been averaging nearly 50 a year over the past 5 years, but a lot of those were patterns that I did not have to paint nor put into dioramas. This year has been the first in a long time in which I have built more that 10 for myself. I intend to improve on that!
I try to do one per month plus the equivalent number of kits I buy each year. That way my unbuilt kit number slowly comes down. Last year I bought 6 kits so should have built 12 + 6 =18 kits but only built 15, even so my stock of unbuilts reduced by 9 so I was happy with that. This year so far none completed and I’ve bought 3. Several years ago I used to regularly build around 30 per year but that was when a mate and I used to get together every Friday night and build until about 3 in the morning.
About 2-3 at the most a year. Wish I had time to do more, course if I wouldn’t keep starting the dang things, I only have about 30 started right now. LOL

Only got two done this past year.
I would say an average of 10-12
Over the last 25 years I’m averaging .004.
Depends of what kind of year? Leap year? Acounting year? Chinese calander year? Doesn’t matter, I start about five and finish about three, break at least two, get tired of one and trashcan it, then decide to build another, so on average, I maybe finish one a year, or three depending on which calander I’m using. Hope to finish my B-25 by April 15th.
At least I’ll having something done by that date[:D]
I’m going to estimate that I complete about 25 in a year, all 1/48 WW II aircraft. I’m disabled, so I get to spend 8-10 hours/ day, 7 days/ week at the bench. [:D]
if i am lucky i will complete one this year. at the rate i am going i am on pace to complete one over the next ten years.

Depends on the year…sometimes I’ll spit 10-15 out-- but this year, it’s looking to be more like around 5…
I average 4-5. Most of what I do is 1/72 scale. But I have thrown in a few biggies usually just 1 of those per 1.5 to 2 years. A 1/24 Airfix Spit took me about 2 years to complete, but I fininshed quite a few 1/72 scales in that time also.
Now I’ve still got a bunch of 1/72s in process or on the deck - along with a 1/48 B-24D that’s in process.
Last year I finished around 8 or so. I kind of wish it were more, but I’m running out of space as it is.
As of the begining of this year, I’ve so far finished only 2 models, with a third about 2/3 done. I tend to average 1 model per month, although it all depends, because a lot of the things I add, are added as a ‘work-in-progress’. I never begin with a completely clear picture of what I want to end up with.
I have only been going at it for about 8 months now and I have finished 15. Starting to slow down a bit now though with building more complex kits.
Well, i’m building beetwen 2 and 4 per year. I’m trying to improve my skills so it’s taking more time to build them then a couple of years ago. I still think of myself as a rookie

Well, Iv’e been retired for 6 years and live in Michigan where we have about six months of lousy weather a year so I have a lot of free time for modeling. I usually complete about 20 1/48 AC, another 10 or so 1/72 AC, two or three Armored vehicles and paint six or so figures. Keeps me out of the local Pubs. During nice weather months, I do more gardening and play more golf than modeling, but I still get a few done.
