Went to mine pretty picked over, ended up getting the Hasegawa P-40E for 15 nice little kit.
I walked in to the local HL an hour ago… and promptly walked out fifteen minutes later empty handed… [:(] While they had some good kits (mainly tamiya WWII 1/48th kits), their airplane section was dwarfed by the ships and cars. If I wanted to build an Me262 or Do335, I’d have been in luck, but alas, there were no F-86s or F-84s… Oh well… the one in Lubbock had a much better selection, just wish they’d had the sale a week earlier!
Shelves haven’t been restocked since the Christmas rush. And their buyer seems to be slipping. Not as much variety as when they first opened their doors.
My wife is there right now and called to see if there was anything I “needed”. Oh Boy![:D] I got her to pick up a 1:144 E-2C and an A-10, AV-8B and a Super Hornet. The last three are all 1: 48. YEEHAAAWW[:D][^][party][8-] I’m gonna be busy for the next year. Thanks for the heads up!

I was at a HL near my house…like someone above said, if I wanted to build a Tamiya 1/48 Me-262, or P-47’s, or Accurate Miniatures Dauntless, I’d be set. They do have a couple of Hasegawa 1/48 RF-4B kits ($41.99 regular price), and some AM F-6B and P-51 Mustangs. No Helldivers, and no Hasegawa Tomcats…dang!
I am just hoping my HL still has the 1/32 Academy F-16 CJ/CG! If they do I plan on getting it Wednesday, hopefully! It will be my first 1/32 scale plane, I’m getting excited, they better have… rrr…[:D]

Nope you don’t need any coupon. The sale is listed in their add, so if they don’t get the 50% discount at the register show them the sale on the paper add (every HL I’ve been to has a copy of that weeks add near the register).
Just did my shopping yesterday; Tamiya 1/48 Dornier Do 335A PFEIL, Tamiya 1/35 Hanomag Sdkfz 251/1, and a Tamiya 1/35 barricade set. Pretty sad that all I got was Tamiya stuff but my local HL didn’t have a very good selection compared to other HL’s I’ve been to. Oh well I only spent ~$35 so I’ll just save the rest for that $75 order from Squadron… and a trip to the LHS[:D]

Theres always tools and supplies! 1 HL in Terre Haute has a nice selection of MM acrylics and enamels, and the one in Indy has a good selection of the MM enamles and Tamiya acrylics, so I guess one or the other, I am getting some paint! [:-,]
