Hi, I’m a (homeschooled 
) highschooler from the PNW. Some of my hobbies include swimming (club and for my highschool team), snowboarding, and boyscouts. I got into model making through my dad, but he is the type who buys more than he builds, I honestly don’t know the last time he finished a model. He has a pretty decent collection, but maybe a dozen completed builds. I follow in his footsteps, I probably have 30+ kits I need to build. I play a bit of war games (Warthunder, etc) so that spurred my interest, and my model collection focuses around that, (I have a lot of German armor and planes). So far I’ve built a 1/72 Trumpeter Tiger II, a 1/72 Trumpeter M4A3E8, and a 1/72 Revell P-47D.
My favorite movies include The Godfather, No Country For Old Men, Apocalypse Now, and All About Lily Chou-Chou.
My favorite bands/artists are Nirvana, Harvey Danger, Alice in Chains, Radiohead, The Descendents, The Smiths, Masayoshi Takanaka, Steve Miller Band, and maybe Neil Diamond.

My boomer dad actually has no interest in models, and he like marginally supports my hobby, so its great you have a family member who you share a hobby with! I’m also the opposite in the sense that I only have 4 kits (1 completed, 1 in progress, 2 in stash), and that is mostly bc of money/space constraints (i wanna buy em all…)

Also didnt you say you spend most of your time on school?? Are you in a really intensive highschool program or do you have a big workload or smth?
Just a lot of advanced classes and I have end of year exams starting next week 
Lots of homework too and I try and maintain decent grades because my desired careers are super competitive (military intel. analyst, defense attachè, diplomat), and also because my parents came from disadvantaged backgrounds and are like EDUCATION IS THE PATH TO SUCCESSSS
