Thanks rick, took your advice there and posted the pic’s on Photobucket.

Great looking cat. Like the engine detail and the dash work. How about a shot into that open gun bay?

Thanks for the comments. Here is a pic of the one gun bay as requested.

A close-up of the rear of the engine as well.

There are 2 things wrong with the build.

  1. I didn’t do it.

  2. I couldn’t do it!

Fabulous job!

Great job. It is like looking at pictures of the full 1/1 scale aircraft. How long did it take you to build it?

Excellent build Tappie. Beautiful looking Jug.

Regards, Rick

Great looking Hellcat!!![^]

Thank you guys. It was my first 32nd scale aircraft. The cockpit alone took about 2 months to scratchbuilt. In total I spend about 4 months on it. But is was well worth the effort.

Beautiful Cat Tappie! [tup] It looks great in the RAF colours.

Wow! That is a fantastic build, I love the RN paint scheme-looks great. Thanks for the pics,

Darren.

Great job Tappie-- I really like the looks of this Grumman.

Great looking bird… very nicely done.

Very nice I’m a big fan of FAA colors you did a fine job.
