frosty's first pix

Nice work, Frosty. I really like the Panther. Can’t wait to see it completed. As Greg said earlier, it’s nice to see the old Airfix Chieftain, and you did a great job on it… Keep up the good work. And take yet more pics!

Looks great Frosty. Don’t really think I could work on something so little either, particualry those road wheels, wow. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Looking good.

looking good frosty
have you got any of the Dragon 1.72nd kits yet

Very nice works you have there frosty. Those are 1/72 sacle am I right. Looks nice from here.

It is good to finally see pics of your works.

Keep it up.

Frosty

They look real good. I have to say that I showed my 10yr old daughter your pictures and told her that a young girl built those tanks. She looked at them and her face lit up and said “Can I build a tank too?”
Looks like I’ll have to make a stop at the LHS and pick one up for her.

Well I’m impressed Frosty. Good job. (insert golf clap here)

I like the Pink Panther too. Now all we need is some of the fly boys to come up with a pink airplane and we’ll have the water land and air covered in pink…

Mike

Nice job Frosty,

Another modeler with small fingers. I don’t know how you guys do it. [wow]

Great job with the pictures !!!

No fair…all I get is the big red x in Shermies links, and can’t find anything in Ron’s gallery.

Her pix got moved to page2 in Armor on Ron’s site.

There’s the page link.

Eric

Thanks Eric, where would dopes like me be if not for guys like you.

Very, very nice Frosty. Love the colour on the Panther. Still looks lean and mean, even pink.

Lets see now, a green one, a yellow one and a pink one…what colour of the rainbow are you going to try next? LOL

One thing though…aren’t girls supposed to be neater than boys? Your work area looks as cluttered as mine.

Glad you found your USB port. Keep posting the pics.

Ack! They’re TINY! Excellent sag on the IV’s tracks! Brilliant job!

All right! Frosty-chan’s on the air! Congratulations, young lady!

Good-lookin’ tanks. And here’s where my colorblindness kix in: that Panther looks like light gray to me! I didn’t realize it was pink until I read the caption. Coincidentally, the Pink Panther is on Cartoon Network as I’m posting this…

I’m intrigued by the fact that you are building your models in the midst of what appears to be a small city. Any comments about that?[;)]

Hey Frosty,

Nice to finally see some of your work!

Looking good (love the Pink Panther!)

wowie zowie !
thanx 2 u all 4 such positive reactions 2 my work !
(i was just hoping i wouldn’t embarrass myself 2 much, really ) !

first, i want to apologize to Robert 4 not reading his comment about my panzer iv properly ( i was kind of in a hurry and mistakenly thought he was talking about the Panther). i did install the idler wheels where they were supposed 2 go as far as the kit instructions were concerned, but if they’re wrong, i can always redo them (got any ref pix 4 me ?) or just keep the side skirts on i guess.

all pix r of 1/72 scale models (more nominal than actual 4 airfix, or so i’ve heard)… i put a quarter in the foreground 2 show scale (it looks huge!!!)

the pink Panther project has been fun; i give thanx and all due respect 2 Shermanfreak, Renarts, & DJModels who kind of dared me into it… (otherwise i probably wouldn’t have had the nerve 2 do something so girly)[[;)]

about painting roadwheels in 1/72: this is probably the most tedious part of afv modeling in small scale. i use a very small brush, an optivisor and lots of patience …

to petbat: girls neater than boys ? that’s the rumor… well, all i can say is my room is a real mess most of the time (mom says it’s toxic, actually), and most of my friends r the same way ! [:I]

brian-sama: what appears to b a small city is actually a small bit of my n-scale model railroad. i don’t have a desk in my room, since the desk top serves as the base 4 part of the rr, so i posed my afvs on one part of the rr which is not too covered w/ structures (or other junk that just accumulates due to not having a desk… LOL !) makes a kind of interesting background tho’!
thanx again 2 u all !
frosty[:)]

RAF 120:
that makes me feel really good !
go and get her her own model while she’s still in the mood ! [:D][:D]
thanx,
frosty[:)]

Went back in and adjusted the links, so the pics are visible again.

[:D][:D]

Rn’t U just 2 sweet Robert!!! [;)] [:p] [:D]

Eric

As a matter of fact … YES. [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

Oh, there they are again. Those great little tanks. Thanks for readjusting the links Sherm. You know, I should try one of those. Afterall I have been doing 1/72 A/C already. What do you think Frosty? And honestly, I am running our of space. Small apartment, you know.
