The X-Files, can’t pick one episode.
I was always a fan of the episode with the cul-de-sac gated community with all the rules, and when someone broke them some creature came out of the ground and killed them and drug them into the earth.
That episode was called Acadia. Inspired by that episode, I used to have our Parish’s youth group welcome new Parish members by “flamingo-ing” their house. We would go at night to their house and put about 150 plastic flamingoes in their front yard and leave a note on their door saying welcome to the parish and then we would come at night and remove them and wait for the next newcomer. It was a blast. We did that to the Bishop’s house and he thought it was a stitch. The X-Files reminds me now of Kolchack, the Night Stalker. My favorite episode was the one where there was a headless man who rode a motorcycle around and bisected his victims with a sword like a jousting knight. Kolchack defeated him by finding his lost head and reattaching it so the ghost could rest in peace.
Stargate obsessed person here 
(hated SGU though).
Only Trek I like is Enterprise. Where they didn’t always have a solution and their uniforms actually got dirty. Not to mention they looked like uniforms.
Enjoyed BSG as well.

Ya. I’m also obsessed with Stargate. But i did like SGU, hated the way they ended it thoug. 
Been working on some ideas for scratch building a Deadalus class ship. Got some rough drawings on paper thats about it though.

These creaky old bones remember him as well as his predecessors, Space Patrol, Captain Video and Tom Corbett, Space Cadet. I became good friends with Ed Kemmer, the lead of “Space Patrol”, and I built a model of his P-51B for him about two years before he passed. The “Terra V” was an awsome ship and I am constantly amazed at how well the craftsmen and special effects artists pulled off some of the visuals on live TV.
Caprica season 1,the aired episodes, and season 1.5, the unaired episodes are on dvd now. Watching 1.5 now …very interesting. Loved Dr Who The Stolen Earth double episode and Torchwood Children of Earth finally.
I like them all, never watched Enterprise when it was aired but now that I have found it on Netflix, I am enjoying it immensly!!

Does anybody remember the short lived series Logan’s Run? I liked the episode Crypt. I also liked the series, Friday the 13th: the Series which had nothing to do with Jason Voorhees.
I love all the scifi stuff and have collections of Startrek TnG, Voyager, DS9, SG1, SG Atlantis… Safe to say im an addict lol.
Best particular episodes are too many to mention but i always seem to recall the TnG episode where Picard is held captive by a romulan trying to break his mind. The shakespearian acting background for both actors really payed off in that episode[:)]

Dunno if any of you guys follow internet or Cartoon trends but recently the cartoon ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’ has become a Phenomenon. It was created by Hasbro to bring back the line to re-release their toys and was put on the HUB network and marketed to girls. They hired Lauren Faust to develop and help write the show, she is best known for the cartoons Power Puff girls and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Animals.
Something unexpected happened though… Faust made the show… good, very good and the demographic changed drastically from little girls to men ages 15 to 30. I am not lieing about that, and I am one of them. I can write a small treatise on why I enjoy the show, things like using source material going back to old slapstick like three stooges or comedy like Benny hill or the marx brothers, taking ques and gags from looney toons and warner brothers, and even going as far as to making references to everything from Tolkien (in the form of designing a dragon central to an episode after his own artwork of Smaug) to Doctor Who.
Now… what brings me to write this here. The second season just started to air, it is three episodes in. The first two episode center around a Villan ‘Dischord’ who was freed and is seemingly all powerful but just uses his powers to create chaos for his own amusement and to watch everypony attempt to stop him.
Now, any fan of the Star Trek series from The Next Generation on will automatically recognize the voice actor of Dischord as ‘John de Lancie’ who played the character Q who was Omnipotent and liked to play games and cause chaos just for his own amusement… Basically the whole first two episodes WAS Q in My Little Pony. The kicker of it was at the end they had a kind of royal celebration, rewarding the main 6 ponies for saving the day and well… look for yourselves with a side by side of the source material
