Goodness180: I have seen ALL of BSG, original and re-envisioned, plus “Caprica”. My aside had nothing to do with the sex in the show and everything to do with the actress’s reaction to being cast as a ****. “Razor” was one of the better arcs in BSG.
That is a neat little series, isn’t it? Glad Joss was able to put together the feature film also.

It is hard to narrow it down. I was never much of a Star Wars fan. Frankly, I fail to see what the draw is. Not very imaginative. I thought Star Trek was much better both the series and the films.
I haven’t read through the thread to see what I may be forgetting, but the new “Battlestar Galactica” was amazing- my favorite episode when they found the destroyed “earth”. Next would be “Stargate Universe”- but no particular favorite episode- most were excellent.

There was a repeatedly used swatch of footage with “Birdie” (the aluminum Christmas tree-like sensor array on the “Silver Moon”) being deployed (except when they didn’t) any time the Space Rangers landed on a strange planet.
About the only thing I recall from the entire miserable series was Winky (the comic relief sidekick) threatening: “If you tell me that if I have to wear my spacesuit out there, Birdie. I’m going to pluck out all of your feathers!”
I thought that “Defying Gravity” was a great show. It just didn’t get enough exposure. I watched the whole thing "online’ because it wasn’t available to me any other way. All the episodes were good. Good potential modeling subjects as well.

Star Trek original series… You guys are good, I can’t recall the names of the individual shows. There were a few of the installments that I really liked. Too many to say which was a favorite. (and then, I wouldnt know the name of the individual show… grrr)
Hard to pin, because i love so many different series. but if I had to make a hard choice to show to someone that had never seen the series, and at the same time be one of my personal favorites, it would have to be:

The problem with Doctor Who in a modeling forum is you’re going to build WHAT? The Hand of Oberon? The Key to Time? The Sash of Rassilon? The Pandorica? Most of Doctor Who is monsters, props, figure modelling, and fiddly-bits.
The spaceships from the first few series (British notation) were little more than tricked-up cereal boxes. And to the best of my recollection, none was ever used after the original arcs. Although the Master’s TARDIS (disguised as the Adjudicator’s spaceship) in Colony in Space (the penultimate story of Season 8) was half-decent.
I have a UBS router that lives on top of my venerable desktop tower (I use my laptop for forums) that’s in the shape (& sound) of the TARDIS.

OOOOHH, juggle, juggle, juggle. That is definitely a brain teaser as the list is rather lengthy. I would have to narrow it to several episodes of the new Battle Star Galactica. And for pick number two, the new Doctor Who, although there have been very many good episodes I would say one of the best is Blink, which introduces the Weeping Angels.

Whilst travelling with a group of friends in Japan, I brought Top wo Nerae 2 (diebuster) dvd for some light viewing. Then one night surfing the channels from local TV station, it just happens a marathon of Top wo Nerae (gunbuster) was being shown.
If you know the relationship between the original and sequel and how the epicness is amplified if you view them in order, you understand! The night turned into a double marathon - it was EPIC! (killed half of next day though)
