Duck Hunter GB

Hi this is dragons 1/35 251/21 not many work in progress photo’s trying to get it finished on time. just the tracks and wheels to add tomorrow.

No worries Peter. It doesn’t matter if its not finished by tomorrow night, as long as you have posted some progress pics, which you have.

Really nice job on this. I have built one of Dragon’s 251’s, the /17 Ausf D, so I guess this is pretty similar. But were there any issues with the kit. I have this in the stash as well, along with all my other 251’s, so anything to look out for would be nice to know.

i am still working on JGSDF TYPE 87 spaa. indy tracks bah… well probably being chicken s**t on this but i needed an easy fast build to get my mojo going so i started the 37mm FLAK 37 towed gun. should have it ready to prime and pics on wed… probably to a truck and have it in travel mode. that should complete the hat trick for this GB. i have been away too long.

nice camo. is it blended with anything or is that the way the camera took the pic? i really like the lack of sharp contrast aand toned down look.

Hi, All done the kit went together well and I over painted the cam with the lighter colour to give dusty look and to tone it down.

Thanks bish and eagle90 for hosting. The first photo thanks and to all the people who finished good work I think I will try a 88 next.

Our pleasure peter. Really nice build. I’m a huge 251 fan and always like seeing them built, but even more so when they are like this. Great job.

ye, I did notice you had been away for a while wayne. Good to see you back and look forward to those pics.

Hey Peter,

Got your pic posted. Great job! I really like the camo job. Thanks for being in the GB!

To paraphrase the romulans in ST TNG “matters more urgent caused my absence. I am back.” And what is one of the first things i did? Joined the orphan armor GB with a BM-21 MLR. and probably be every piece of AMM out there for it. Obviously my urgent matters did include working on my AMS? Pics in later today on the 37mm.

as promised, pics of FLAK 37. ready to prime. and, to atone for my absence i will throw in the prime mover for it. why not would work in a number of other GBs too. also added a pic of 88mm bunker progress.

Nice work there wayne, i like the 88 bunker.

Wayne, was this you?

hiya folks, sorry for the tardiness, the 88 is all dine but havent the time to post the pic, have to go to work. will do that first thing int he morning.

My build, the M247 Sgt York, is finished. I just need to pick up some CA & camera batteries.

not ,e. i would be a romulan warbird sub commander. started on the truck this afternoon. progress to date. suppose to warm up by end of the week so i hope to get some priming done on friday. saturday and sunday i will be at STAR FEST 2014. i won a pair of tickets at the natiionals raffle last year. not sure what the colors are going to be but i suspect '44 camo, western front.

Looking good there wayne.

Ok guys, the GB is now officially over. So for those who have not yet posted progress pics, sorry guys. For those who have, we look forward to seeing the rest of your builds.

Thanks to all those who took part/are taking part. Some really nice builds there. maybe we can have a round 2 in a couple of years, in the meantime, look forward to seeing more of you guys and your builds around the forums and especially in more GB’s.

And a big thanks to eagle for helping out with this one. Cheers buddy.
