Cyberhobby Gruppe Fehrmann Hybrid Tiger 1 release

I ordered mine this morning, I see some new features, moveable driver vision block cover, it appears thta we get both magic and DS tracks. Tiger fans need to go to the DML website to check it out. Definitely something I want to add to the collection.

Get em’ while they are hot boys, I’ve got a feeling these are going to follow the Tunisian and Wittman pattern we have witnessed lately.

Anyone taking money out of their 401K to buy in bulk? I have to have one, the wifes gonna kill me(this will be my 5th dragon tiger 1) Should the Fehrmann tigers have zimmerit?

What does it include that makes it special? Markings? Pffffftttttttt[zzz]. How about some Allied!!

It’s a special hybrid Tiger, essentially an early repaired with some late parts (wheels most noticeably). It would otherwise require you to use at least 2 kits to model one.

Off the top of my head–I would say “I don’t think so”? I think there’s a discussion of these tanks in one of Jean Restayn’s books “Tigers on the Eastern/Western Front”?

Some have it, F13 for sure, but in most cases it’s badly chipped:

Most don’t:

There were only 6 hybrid Tigers in the group, and there are good pictures of every vehicle, so you can’t get away with any hypothetical stuff on this build [;)]

Your EVIL!![:D] I just ordered up one for myself. Hope my wife doesn’t find out.

Kind of had decal for the hybrid form echelon. Now I’ll have the tiger to go with it.

Sorry, [:)]but I think you will thank me in a couple of months. I have a feeling that this kit will skyrocket in collector value at some point. That being said I fully intend to build mine. I have a set of Fermann Archer dry transfers that have been sitting in the decal box for two years waiting on this bad boy.

Steve

I may have to get this kit. Do you guys think the price will jump once the production run is over?

Possibly, but don’t buy it if you don’t intend to build it–let someone else have it for the pleasure of building it, IMO! [:-^][:D]

Besides, it might just stay right around that price–there’s a whole slew of CH kits on ebay for $9.99 starting prices!

This is a good one for Tiger enthusiasts and have to agree that it will likely go the route of the other Tiger releases as well. Unlike some of the other CH releases, the Tigers ALWAYS sell out…it’s just the fact that it’s a Tiger and a rare Tiger at that but one that’s thoroughly documented so will be the ideal “must have” kit for many.

To each there own. I don’t buy kits to invest in; I buy them to build them. I say buy it if you intend to build it. MHO.

This probably meens 3 T1 releases from Dragon in 2008;

Fehrman, Mid and Zimm…

As usual I am happy as long as they keep em coming…mine is on order

Regretfully I think the Magic Tracks are only for the spare links…much like the DX07 Kurzmaul Tiger.

I noticed the box art on the Cyberhobby looks quite different than the artist interpretation on the Gruppe Fehrmann Echelon Decal set…wonder which is right…

I’m just worried that if I don’t get it now the price will sky rocket when I really want to build one.

Geist,

If you want to get one to build, this will likely be the lowest price you will ever see them at based on previous Tiger release experiences.

I just ordered mine. Does anyone know when they ship?

Seems like an interesting variant. When and where was this one used by Group Fehrmann?

I predict that this one will garnish the highest “collector” prices in a few years…surpasing even the Wittman and “initial” versions…I might get one just for that reason…

I agree, if you want one, get it before the speculators buy one and drive up the secondary prices. Nothing makes collectors/speculators move as fast as Limited production. That goes true for more than just models.
