The tri color scheme would look pretty cool Bud[8D] as tthat would probably be the best choice other than a BMF for a late war A/C. Now post lots of pics[swg]
I am suprised no one has mentioned the XP-55’s recent movie appearance.
The XP-55 showed up in “Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow”. The were used by the Royal Navy. They were all CGI (of course), but they appeared to be in typical RN/RAF wartime camo. Just a thought for your what-if build.
Now that’s cool. Going to have to rent that.

Well I rented the movie and it was so so. The planes they had in there kind of looked like the XP-55. They looked cool though.

I test fitted the Office and WOW there is a lot of work I have to do for filling in the open spots.

All the talk about a different paint scheme is interesting. I may get another kit and paint it silver with an olive drab panel in front of the cockpit like some of the P-47s. It was a fun model to build.
Well what can I say. I could not start it because I did not have all the parts. SUE ME [:P]
I got the resin parts from Squadron and there so so, at lest the seat is GOOD [:D]

Here are 2 pics of the seat. The old one that you can’t even tell it’s a seat and the new one I just got. It’s a LOT better but the back of it is thin.
