That is one fantastic looking fuel truck. You did a magnificent job. BTW, I love the soldering of the side mirrors. This truck looks very real.
@TigerII - thanks a lot for your kind words and for reminding me of this thread! I have noticed the mirrors relatively late in the build and when I checked with the experts they told me these are M123 mirrors, so if I wanted to have them exactly as in the photo it left me with no choice but to build them from scratch (I had no M123 kit to raid!). And soldering them - as opposed to glueing them from stretched sprue, or trying to 3D print them - gives me part that have a chance of surviving even if somebody touches them…
One thing I noticed - @HeavyArty , @Cbowling , @keavdog , @GAF, @dadoffour , @S.Hollowell - somehow I didn’t thank you for your comments and for your kind words back then - sorry about that! I’m very grateful, having you all on my WIP threads means a lot to me!
On a sad note - John Eaton is not with us any more… I could always count on him with subjects of trucks, construction equipment or piston powered aircraft - I’m missing him!

John was always encouraging and helpful. It’s a sadder world without him, especially on Father’s Day. I was looking at his model page earlier and saw the models by Alex and Audrey. Guess they miss him, as do us who interacted with him on this forum.
