Battle Stations!!! Post your modeling workspace!

That’s nice. I’m away from home and this pic makes me miss my basement.

Did you move to Ohio or have you always been there? I’m a little turned around this morning I guess.

Here’s what my space lookes like for the past year at my brother’s house. I will be going to Boise for Christmas and will take a pic of my big area there. I hope to be returning for good sometime this next year.

Been in the Cleveland area my whole life. I just switch to a suburb with a better school system (and higher taxes!)…

Some nice areas! Mine is kind of small, but considering I started out almost 3 years ago at the dinning room table it’s an improvement.

My area is in mine and hubby’s bedroom.

Drawer under the paint booth has my airbrushes and a few misc things.

Underneath the booth are some plastic drawers with stretched sprue/left over decals/dremel/acetone and some other junk I need to go through.

Two top drawers in my desk. Paint/weathering stuff/brushes/scissors/nippers/tape/decal solutions/glue/tweezers, all kinds of stuff.

Two left side drawers. Spray paint/scratch building stuff/misc stuff I don’t use much.

Two right side drawers. Hobby knives/files/clamping tools/thinner/metalizer paints/rubber gloves

My sandpaper organizer hung on the wall.

Part of the stash in the corner. Also where I stick the box of the current WIP.

You "organize that stuff ??? I need to try that… instead of just letting it “Pile up” wherever I leave off…

There’s sandpaper in this mess…somewhere…

This is my “New Year’s Resolution” … to find my sandpaper !

OK! I’ll help by taking the first guess. It’s either in or under that little red box.

P.S. What do we win if we find it for you?[:D]

The Sandpaper…

Such a deal. You might wanna go to the hardware store for Sandpaper cuz that pile of (beep) looks scary.

I’v had my Tetanus shot’s …

Thats a good start.

Checking in from the East Side of Cleveland. Built a house, and one of my requirements was my own hobby space on the first floor.

It’s looks well thought out and organized. Lot’s of inspiration surrounding you too. I just noticed you have a sink in there too! Ha! Awesome!

Alright just revised my work area and turned it into our work area.

And this area was added:

For my 13yo son who is in the process of building his first car.

Good times ahead!

I wouldn’t say “well” haha. There’s always something better to be done. I‘d like to make a custom wood bench at some point, maybe some better drawers. But it’s the best space I’ve ever had. Tip of the hat to my wife for going along with it!

Some pics of my cave. The place where I refuse to grow up. Basements are uncommon where I live due to the high water table, but my old house had one and the previous owner used it as his workshop. The low ceiling, all the pipes, ducts, conduits overhead, florescent lights, and sharing the room with a 1958 Homart furnace gives the feeling of working in a machine space on a ship, but without the rolling. Probably why I build ships down here. Although as seen in the photos, I pretty much will build anything.

Scottrc, I like it, nice amount of space. Are those Estes rockets I see?

Yes, they are.

Here’s mine.

Here’s mine at the moment.

Just moved into new house. With the stash

Your “Stash” is giving those shelve’s a Hernia !

OPTION # 1: Dont buy any more kit’s

OPTION # 2 : Get bigger shelve’s … Then, you can buy more kit’s … but , only then .
