Battle of Britain group build?

Been thinking for the last few days of maybe starting a Battle of Britain group build since this year marks the 85th anniversary. Any interest?

Count me as interested. I have that new HobbyBoss 1:48 Hurricane Mk I that I’m itching to get after.

With the passing of the last RAF pilot that participated in the battle, it would seem appropriate.

I have no Hurricanes in the stash, but I do have an old 1/48 Tamiya Spitfire Mk.I. If a group build starts, I would be interested. I’ll need to source a better pilot or a Sutton harness. The new Tamiya Spit has a great looking guy in the “front office”, but the old kit I have has a kind of dumpy looking guy.

Count me in. I have an Airfix Hawker Hurricane Mk. I Tropical (which can be built as a regular Mk. I) and a Tamiya Spitfire Mk. I. I’m set!

Oh, and looking I have a Revell Spitfire Mk. II and a Tamiya 109 E3.

I have a BF109 and Ju-87 Stuka in 1/32, not sure I want to make these right now.

I’ll play!!! I have both the Revell and Pacific Coast Models 1/32 Hurricane along with several Spitfires, BF-109s, BF-110 Etc. Which to choose?

I agree that with the passing of the last Battle of Britain fighter pilot and it being the 85th anniversary it would be a great way to honor the men and women who fought in this conflict. Time to search in the stash.

I’m interested but it depends on when it starts and how long it will last. I do have a BoB subject in my “to-build” sub-stash for this year.

Sounds good. I have the Tamiya new Spitfire I which is supposed to be a crackerjack kit, and the very neat looking Airfix Stuka I - both in 1/48.
