Nice job on the interior! All it needs a bit of a wash and some detail painting.
Great work on those weld lines! [y]

Thanks stik. Yes the interior will get some washes and other details painted including the ip.
This was put on hold for a while due to other home projects but it’s back on the bench now. I used my recently acquired Sotar that was on the Badger 60th Anniversary sale list. This thing shoots incredible tight thin lines for super fine details.
OD sprayed on the interior
Paint done freehand using Mr Color OD and ModeL Master tan enamel at about 8 PSI.
That is looking nice and tight!
Well done! Love it!
Thanks MB!
Looking good!
Good to see you back on this- the camo looks spot-on!
Thanks Rob and gamera
Looks great so far
I have that Sotar 20/20 and it is super nice for the fine lines and tight detail. It works great for small bits and fine line camo. Your kit is coming along nicely. I need to get one of these too.

Thanks Tojo and BK.
BK the Academy M10 has good reviews, good fit, great detail and brings a a good selection of extra on board stowage.
Short update
Did some washes and pigments on the interior parts
Sprayed Aquagloss in preparation for decals and washes then applied the decals.
Solvaset is a life saver. There is no way for the clear carrier film to snuggle down around these raised details unless the nuclear option of Solvaset is used.
These Cartograph decals are good and have clearance holes done to fit around the raised details so no need to punch them out.
The real fun part is next, pin washes and weathering.
I love how you got your decals to snuggle down. However, I believe the correct terminology for the nuclear option is Tamiya Extra Thin cement lol!
I’m also really liking the washes and pigment usage. Its looking really cool. Well done, sir.
Thanks, glad you like how it’s coming out so far. Still lots more work to do.
Oh cool! Love how the interior weathering came out.
And good quality decals like Cartograph help too! With bad ones nothing seems to help that much- or else they destroy the decal.
Man, those look painted. So well done. Excellent work on this. It look amazing.

Thanks Gamera. Unfortunately the forward area will be hard to see once the hull top goes on.
Thanks BK. The Solvaset did a heck of a job melting down the decals over the raised details.
It’s nice that Academy quit printing their own decals. The old stuff was impervious to any setting solvent I’ve ever tried, including Walther’s.
