Even if I had rolled over the new canopy with my chair again it would have been OK… there were 2 new vacuform canopies in the box as well as ones for about a half dozen other a/c. Well worth the $13. The Falcon canopies are real nice. 1st time I have used a vac canopies to I need a little practice getting ‘em off the sheet.
Anyway here is the completed build with all the fiddly bits attached. Tamiya 1/72 D-9 with a big tail conversion, MM enamels and Eduard PE cockpit and landing flaps. Hope you like her. As always comments/critiques/criticism welcome.
Found a piece of poster board with clouds and thought I would see how it looks. What do you think?
Hey wing-nut, that is one teriffic build there. Glad you got the canopy to finish the build. Great build and like the paint job a lot. I like the cloud backgroud for the photo.
Nice one, Marc. I really like the markings and paint scheme you went with on this one. I’ve got a 1/48 ProModeler 190D in my stash and I was thinking about throwing it together while I wait for the P-39 GB to start. All these Dora’s you keep posting must be carrying subliminal messages![8)]
Another great FW190 build, Marc. Great paint job on a 1/72nd, I wouldn’t be able tell the difference between the 2 kits until you put them side by side.
