Awesome Marc! [tup][tup][tup] Now lets see that 1/32 kit to complete the set (pssst… did you know they make these things in 1/285 and possibly 1/700 scale too? [}:)]) http://www.ghqmodels.com/store/ac8.html Don’t know if they have the big tail conversion though and you may have to put two or three pairs of those goggles on.[:o)]
Outstanding Wing.

Wing Nut, Beautiful job on the FW. Great color scheme and photos and build. As for the cloud poster board , since you asked, I feel that the clouds dont quite get it. It just does not seem quite right with the FW sitting on the clouds and the clouds in the background ,with the canopy open, no pilot, and prop not turning. Just does,nt seem realistic. The other shots on the blue backgroung without the clouds I think are terrific. Beautiful pics. Just my input since you wanted comments. Dont mean to offend. Again, a beautiful job on that FW. P.S/ What type of camera did you use? Also, the light source is just right.
Sorry Marc, next time I’ll keep my big mouth shut![:-^]
Nah that’s OK… I would have probably stumbled across that sooner or later.

Sorry for taking so long to answer your question about the camera setup. I use an HP R817 5.1 MP camera. I set is for aperture priority and the max f-stop for best depth of field. Color balance is set to tungsten and lights are 2 outdoor halogen spot diffused with dryer sheets. The top light is a halogen desk light that I can move around to fill in and dark spots if need be but it will still be mostly from the top and front of the shot. I usually have exposes of f-8 and 1/30 sec so I can do hand helds. If the shutter speed gets lower I will use a tripod. I shoot at 5mp then reduce the size in Paint Shop and use the unsharp mask to improve the image
Here is the set up.

And this is shot it produced.

And I agree with you about the clouds but I do see a potential there with the right shot.
Great built. I like it. sir.
narupol [:D].
