it’s been a while since I have posted here , sorry my build is a good way in , couldn’t be helped .
but this is where I am up to .
the main mast shrouds have just gone in .
Your Victory looks incredible! This kit is in my “Retirement Build” pile to build in the near future.
No apologies necessary. Your ship looks fabulous!
Incredible work. Attention to detail is outstanding. I admire the talent required to build, let along rig, sailing ships. I bow with respect!
thankyou gentlemen for the nice comments .
I thought it best to do the main and preventer stays , before the fore shrouds , for ease of working space .
Since the mains are in, no reason not to.
Looking fabulous. Glad to see you posting again.
Bob
thanks and nice to be back rob . it’s a bit different to when I was last here though .
thought while I was up here , I might as well do the crows foot .
I just love the way the shrouds stack up around that squared off mast.
Bob
they were great engineers bob
all the lowers shrouds are finally on .
I would like to wish everyone on this forum a great xmas , and a wonderful new year .
Steve5, all that I can say is “WOW, what have I gotten myself into?” I added the Heller 1/100 HMS Victory to my stash, as it was on my “Holy Grail” list of kits, but after seeing your amazing rigging, I’m wondering if I’m at the correct skill level yet.
thanks tom , of course you are , one step at a time slowly ,
Beautiful work your modeling and detailing skills are next level .
Fantastic work! The ship modelers on this forum are amazing modelers.
