Very nice build especially in this tiny scale. The I-16 looks nice in these markings. There was some low budget film made a few years ago with Bruce Willis as an American fighting in the early days of WWII with the Chinese and these planes were featured in the film.

Thanks Tom. My older brother got me interested in the Sino-Japanese war when I borrowed a book he had called The Rugged, Ragged Warriors by Martin Caidan.

Good work on a tiny model.

I have never read much on that aspect of WWII, other than the AVG. I did watch an awful movie not too long ago that focused on Chinese aviators flying I-16s against IJA fighters, Oscars perhaps. The movie starred Bruce Willis, but I can’t recall the title.
