ZEKE Time

Here is a Tamiya 1/48 ZEKE I did for one of the GB. She was built out of the box. I built this bird to try a new chipping technique that I have not done before, I dont like the way it turned out[:(!], oh well try try again.

Don’t be too hard on yourself Thad, It looks pretty good in the pics. What you learn from this one can help make the next build even better.

Regards, Rick

I like the paint scheme! I think the only things wrong with the chipping is that they are too regular in size and should be more on the edges of the panels. Not to make myself sound like a pro or anything. Heck, you should see how I ruined my 1/48 scale Frank with my first paint chipping. Your’s looks tons better.

Looks good from here.

Nice work!
I’ve never seen a Zeke decked out in camo like that. I like it!

One of the best things about this hobby is that you can experiment with different techniques.Another is that you can ‘build what you like, …’ If you don’t like it, repaint it!
Besides, how else are the kit makers gonna make money?[2c]
Personally, I think it looks great! Traditional paint schemes are just that![bow]

Looks good to me, as you build more you’ll pick up your skills for sure.

I like the Zeke it looks great.
Nice build

Unusual camo job there, is that improvised or do you have a reference? I think your build and chipping look AOK. I am just curious about that paint job…
