Has listings for several companies.Tamiya’s Red Ball Express kit, Kubelwagen with figures, and the 1/6th Afrika Corps tanker are all nice-looking. I am looking forward to those (read: will most likely purchase) more than the LeClerc or the 1/48th stuff, but that’s just personal taste…
1/700 BRUTISH NAVY CRUIER FOOD & E CLASS DESTROYER
I want that one
ahaha
brutish…
captain caveman, comments?
I personally (if i were britsh) would be insulted at the famed war crusier ‘Hood’ which only 3 was it? sailers escaped with their lives, being called 'Food"
Pitiful spelling. Someone needs to slow down. My H.S. English teacher would be spinning in her grave at all the careless spelling that goes on in the forums.
Had a chance to visit Rainbow Ten last weekend during the show…very nice shop!
Nobody speaks English. But they’re very friendly in Japanese!
I suppose they could have just looked at the box…

Well, that’s the spelling of the Rainbow Ten website, that being a Japanese company that sells direct to overseas customers.
Great service, nice guys. Their primary language is Japanese, which doesn’t use a western-style alphabet. And though the advantage of buying direct from Japan has decreased with the decline of the dollar, for a while there buying from these guys offered huge discounts.
Woo hoo! Check out those American infantry! Building a diorama with them is going to be fun. The Univeral looks great too – it’s amazing that the thing’s 1/48th.
It’s also great to see the Henschel 123 and I was amazed to see a finished 1/144th scale Yamato from Fujimi! My God, just think of the size of it! It’ll be, what, six feet long?
I hope the repackaged Kubel and two and a half ton are not the “two 1/35th scale projects” that were referred to earlier. They seem to be largely repackaged versions of old kits, though with some neat new stuff in them.

Here’s a coupla pix I took of the finished 1/144 Yamato, Larry:

It’s over 180cm long, so it’s pretty close to 6 feet!
And at roughly $8,037 USD, it had better be!! [:0]
No, the Kubelwagen and 2 1/2 tonner are not the two kits I mentioned earlier.
The two new 1/35 Tamiya kits will be completely new kits.
Now ain’t that good news? [;)]

The Japanese language does not have a “hu” sound (like in “Hood”), so you get a lot of problems like that when translating things starting with “hu” sounds from other languages.
Thus, Hood was translated as “Food” due simply to its sound as pronounced in Japanese, and was not deliberately translated as “food,” i.e., something to eat.
“Hook” is another toughy…
And yet another reason for Rainbow Ten to hire me as a translator! [:D]
Looking forward to the DAK 1/16 figure-but the cactus has to go.
Dan

You bet your bippy it is! (There’s a dumb catch-phrase from an earlier era!)
What was that giant Schwimmwagon in the background? Another Fujimi mutant? [(-D]

WOW thanks for all the cool info guys!! You have me drooling over here. Now if only I could justify buying a model that costs more than my car…hmmmmmm.
BTW Brian you are killing me with the new Tamiya tease…however, I sure would like them to kick out some new 1/48 planes…how about some Saabs (planes or cars actually would be nice) But it looks like Hasegawa will be stepping up to the plate for the planes.
Thanks again for the info guys…makes me wish I could go to that show!!
