Karaya is going to release T34/85 T55 and T72 Tracks.
This is exciting cause I need T34/85 tracks.
Any thoughts/opinions?
OK, I’ll bite. What are “injected metal” tracks (according to Perth’s web site), and how does that differ from the cast tracks by Friul (sp?)? Someone please edumacate me.

Gip,
I think I can answer. I’ve used the Karaya Tiger 1 tracks and they were great. Since they are injection molded off nice new tooling, they are clean and exhibit no flash or clogged links like Fruil. They absolutely fell together. The only drawback is an ejection pin mark on the inside outboard of each block. I used them on my Tiger and with a few swipes of the file these were taken care of:

They aren’t much cheaper than Fruilmodel but they are a good product.

I second Steve’s thought’s. I used them on my Dragon 3-1 Initial kit (see picture below). I liked them so well I’ve ordered another set. The only clean-up was removing the ejector pin markings. They come with open holes in all guide horns too! They went together with relative ease.

I’ve been wanting to get a set but haven’t had the opportunity to buy them yet. Hopefully they will show up in stores or at a model show soon.
