X-15 A-2 Decals 1/72

I am looking for water slide decals for the X-15, A-2 1/72. I have looked all over the internet and have had no success. Pictures of decals are available but some of the decals use white lettering. I can make decals but cannot make white lettering decals.[:D]

I have not dealt with this company, but they appear to have what you need.

If you make your own, then you can order white rub-on lettering from several companies. It’s a bit more tedious to apply individual letters, but it is doable.

There’s a guy that makes decals for model rocketeers. He’s made some decals for scale models for me, though. Goes by Sandman. I can’t remember his first name. Prowl around this forum to find him:

True it is that making light colored decals for use over dark backgrounds is definitely harder than dark colored decals for light backgrounds. However, there are several ways to do it, and white for use over a black background. Here is what I do-one of two ways. Usually I set the background color in my image editing program to black, and then draw or type the design I want. Then, after printing, I crop each decal very close to the image, which leaves a slight border to the decal. But it is easy to match black- black is black. Even if your background is not an absolutely black black, that slight border is hardly visible against an almost black background. White lettering ones were the first white decals I made. Of course, you must use white decal paper, but that is now as available as the clear stuff.
