WWII French armour colours

Hey Guys and Gals,
I’m building some 1/76 french armor. Why? I just felt like giving in to it.

I’m building a Heller Somua and Matchbox Char B.1 and Renault FT.17.
The intructions give nothing for Colors.

So that’s why I’m asking. If anyone has a clue to French camo. Please let me know.
Thanks a bunch.

I have one very limited resource, but it says the normal base color was a medium olive green. They used two other colors as well to varying degrees. One was ochre which is described as being a dark dry mustard and the other was a chestnut brown. Black was often used to outline the other colors. Try a search on the net for French armored vehicles, you’ll get some great ideas there.

here’s a photo of a CharB in the french Cammo ( with out the white flag)
