I know the Axis’ Natter and RAF Mosquito were built primarily with wood, but does anyone know of other RAF planes built of wood? I’m considering building a plastic kit and covering the relevant parts with Uschi wood grain decals. A 1/32 scale Mosquito might be overkill, so I’m looking for a smaller 1/32 plane originally built with plywood and strips. If there’s nothing else or not kitted, does anyone know how bad the Revell 1/32 Mosquito is? Thx - GT
Miles M14 Magister trainer and the Miles M20 fighter were bothe made of wood and plywood.

The US developed a plywood fighter, but it came too late in the war to be practical, and it really wasn’t that good anyway.
From what I remember the Ho 299 was a wood plane for the most part.
