Very cool! I did a Tuskegee Airman themed Ford Mustang years back that was a lot of fun…watching this one with interest!
I’d think twice to doing this to my Vetter BUT, seeing your progression and man, I love it especially the interior!
Well done!
Happy Modeling,
Mike
Finished this one up about 1:00 AM and just in time.
This bad boy is heading to the show in Chattanooga tomorrow.
I’ll add more pics later, right now I gotta get some sleep. My ride will be here at 6:00 AM ![]()
Have fun at the show, looking forward to pictures from the show as well.
That’s pretty cool. Nice work!
I’ve been quietly lurking in the background following this build. Love the final reveal shot. It looks spectacular. Good luck at the show. Eagerly awaiting the rest of the photos.
Hey fearlessfarless, this looks great! As an aircraft builder, I think this is too cool! I am not a car guy, but I like the looks of this. I was recently given a car kit as a freebie for buying a started aircraft kit at a model swap meet. Would it be OK if I stole your idea and built up my car project in a similar manner?
Again, great work!

Well I’m certainly no gate keeper. If you’re feeling it, go for it man! It’s been one of the most gratifying builds I’ve done in a while. I’m sure you will enjoy the process!
The car looks terrific! I’ve followed this thread from the beginning. I really like the paint, O.D. with the semi-matte finish. Very nice. Your build is inspiration for me to do a similar build. Probably a Ford Mustang. I’ve owned three, the last a 2012 convertible. An excellent build for sure.
Man, now that’s a great lookin Vette! Diggin the overall look!
Happy Modeling,
Mike
I LOVE this build!! You stuck to the aircraft theme throughout and it looks fantastic. Definitely an award winning model.
