Anybody know where I can find info. on russian field uniform colors? I’m looking for the main colors of course, but I also need those small details like the difference in the color of the collar tabs (rank?) between army troops and NKVD troops. I saw a book in our local library but of course all the pictures were black & white!!![:(] thanks… G.L.

Thanks for the pictures. I can figure out what the army tab colors are (red) and I know the NKVD dress uniforms were blue and I’m guessing that the guy in the blue uniform is such… now if I can just get some more info. on the NKVD field uniform. Thanks again for the help, the army field uniforms color is great, much like U.S. uniform color.
