I need some assistance please. Some months ago, I stumbled across a web site that had the various manufacture specific colors (Kawaskai Interior color, Mitsubishi Navy Green etc) listed by name along with a color chip. Somehow, the page was accidently deleted and I am unable to find it again. I thought it was the JPS (Don Color) site, but I could not find the color chips. Does anyone know the site I am speaking of? Any help will be greatly apprciated. Thank You

Hi. Thank you for your response. I know of and have the WEM colors. I was not clear in my request, sorry.
What I am trying to find again is a site on which there were chips of the manufacture specific IJAAF/IJNAF colors. These chips included colors not included in the WEM, AERO MASTER, FLOQUIL or other ranges. They included colors such as Kawanishi Interior Green, Kawasaki Interior color etc. I came across that site some moths ago and did save it. However, it was accidently deleted and now I can’t find it again. I thought it was on the JPS colors site but can’t find it there.
Thank You for your help coogrfan
Hi. Thank you for your reply. I checked that site you suggested. It is useful but not the one I am trying to find again. The IPMS Stockholm site does not have color chips alongside the color names. It also uses the useful Don Thorpe system which the site I am referring to did not.I thought the site was part of the JPS color/ Don Color site(s) but can’t find it there. The site listed chips for colors not generally shown before or available in commercial paint ranges, such as Kawanishi and Kawasaki’s interior colors
I appreciate your help and thank you.

Is this useful?
The closet match I found for Kawasaki interior tan is rlm79 sand.
Could you be thinking of Nick Millman’s excellent Aviation of Japan blog? Iirc he had to find a new web hosting service a few months back, so any bookmarks to the old straggleresearch site are no longer valid.
Another excellent resource that recently had to find a new home is Sidnei Maneta’s excellent Japanese Aviation. Lots of color profiles and photos,
Thank you. Also, the Hasegawa Lilly kit has a mix for the Kawasaki Interior tan. So with the RLM 79, that gives a choice of different shades. Thank you again for helping.
The Kawasaki color reply was for Tempest Johnny, again thank you for the reply tempestjohnny, I forgot to identify you when I replied
Hi. Thank You Wayne. Yes, that IS the site I found and then accidently got rid of. Thank you for your help. BUT Marines NEVER crawl. The ground just moves out of respect.
Hi coogrfan. I had not known of that site until you just suggested it. It was not the site, BUT, I am very impressed with the AOJ site. Thank you for suggesting it.
