For those who’ve always wondered about the appropriate color for externally mounted AFV fire extinguishers on WW2 German vehicles, this might be a helpful link. Some very nice photos of actual FE’s in both panzer gray and dunkelgelb as well as examples of the different types of bracket/strap mounts. I came across this over at Missing Lynx and thought it would be useful to many here ala the tools question a while back.
