WW2 German Armoured Cars

I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good ww2 1/35 german armoured car kits? I know Tamiya makes an SdKfz 222, and Italeri makes an SdKfz 234/2 Puma. Anyone know how old, and how high quality these kits are?

Thanks in advance for any help

I reccomend this one highly!

the Italeri 234 kits are old but very good kits

The Tamiya 222 is an great kit. Be sure to get the one with the photo-etch and aluminum barrel. They reissued it with those extras

I built the Italeri 234/3 I believe (the one after the Puma) and it had some problems, but nothing huge. The Puma is the exact same hull it looks like from the directions, except a different turret, so I imagine it would be a very similar build to my 234.

I bought the Rad 8 with an eduard PE at a swap and sell for $30 Australian. Pure Gold. One of the best of Tamiya’s early releases.

i agree, the best model i have is the 8-rad. lots of details, good fit, and lots of choices.

Tamiya also has a 223, which I have for the Armored Car build. It comes with PE screens for the top hatch.

Thanks for the help all, I just ordered the Tamiya 8 rad, and still contemplating getting one of the italeri kits
