did ww2 ended with the B-29superfortress or the B-36peacemaker which after was scrap andthen did they rebuild it to make the B-36 ficon?

It was two B-29s that dropped the atomic bombs that ended WWII. [:)]

The B-29 was used extensively in WW-II including the two Atomic bombs used to end the war. The B-36 was under developement at that time, but did not actually fly until after the war was over. The FICON project was one of several experiments to see if “parasite” fighters would work. None of them proved useable enough to put into operational use.

actually guys the B-29 fought in 2 wars and the B-36 never saw any combat whatsoever. And the B-29 was the original workhorse of the FICON concept before the B-36 came along.
Yes ww 2 and Korea. The Russians developed and flew a copy of the B-29 also .
